Our little Ellie was born on May 23, 2011. I was questioning whether or not I should go in and get checked to see if I was in labor. The week before I was having contractions and I was just dehydrated. I had been having contractions all weekend and finally called sunday night and the nurse told me to take tylenol and take a hot bath. The contractions went away. The next morning they came back. So I called labor and delivery and told them I needed to have antibiotics before. So just to make sure Sloan and I dropped kids off at my sisters house and headed to Jordan Valley Hospital. We got there at 12:30 and I was at a 4. I was having contractions but when they checked an hour later I was still at a 4. I started crying to nurse to not send me home cuz I was having contractions and I didn't want to come back and have it be too late. So she had us walk the halls for an hour. By the time we were done I could barely walk they hurt so bad. Thank goodness I was at a 5. So they admitted me and gave me pitocin. Shortly after that I got the "GOOD STUFF"!!! I love the anticipation of not knowing what sex the baby is. We were hoping for a boy to even out the playing field. I was so excited when the doctor said, "It's a girl!!!" Its a good thing because we hadn't decided on a boy name. She was born at 9:30 pm.

I had to have a little oxygen to help the little baby out!!

She was covered in so much "white stuff" because she was born at 36 weeks 4 days. She was my earliest. All my kids have been one week earlier than the one before. I joked about having this baby 4 weeks early and who knew I would.

The kids were loving on her so much.

Its amazing the love you feel for your little baby the moment they are born.

Spring Soccer 2011

Kaycee and Caden played soccer this spring again. They both love it too death.

Makayla is such a fruit cake!! She will be able to play next spring. I'm hoping she likes it as much as the other two. I love her cheesy smile in this picture. This was 2 days before I had little Miss Ellie. I didn't know at the time it was going to be a girl.

I don't know what the heck Caden is doing in this picture!!

Caden really enjoyed soccer this time. He scored so many goals. I'm so proud of him for doing such a great job!

I didn't know Caden liked to show a little leg!

Kaycee has been our all star soccer player. She is very aggressive at getting the ball. Once she gets out ahead of all the players she usually makes a goal. I hope she continues to really enjoy it.

She is growing up way too fast!

Easter 2011

We had a great Easter this year! We enjoyed dying eggs. Everyone was old enough to know what to do and enjoy it. I didn't have many eggs in the fridge so they each got to do two.

These pictures are a little fuzzy because we were running late for church and the kids wouldn't stop for a sec for me to take a good picture. So what you see is what you get!!

Ulrich Cabin Febuary 2011

Our good friends the Ulrich's invited us to their cabin down by Gunnison. It was so much fun! The best part was the sledding behind their golf cart!!

Caden and London the best of buds! They always say they are best friends!

Caden didn't want to go on the sled so he rode on the golf cart with Mike. Makayla and Kaycee could have done that all day. We were hoping for more snow than there was but it didn't snow a lot by their cabin. You just enjoy with what you got!

Monster Truck Rally 2010

Sloan took Caden to the Monster Truck Rally. Caden loved it. They went with Sloan's twin brother Seth and his son Grayson. It was kind of long but the boys like it.

Kaycee's 7th Birthday

I can't believe my little girl is 7! She is growing up too quick. I love the joy that she brings into our house. She loves doing her homework (which probably won't last too long!). Caden and Makayla love playing with her and look up to her so much!!

We had cake and ice cream with our little family! We have decided to do friends birthday parties every other year.

Christmas 2010!

We had a great Christmas! On Christmas Eve, Sloan was working in the garage finishing the toy chests for the kids. Someone kicked our garage door and scared the piss out of Sloan. Sloan came down stairs and told me what had happened. We were looking out all the windows trying to see if we could see anyone. Sloan finally decided to go out the front door. We were not expecting to find a rocking horse almost as tall as us. Someone had been so kind and gave it to us. The kids were so excited on Christmas morning to see it. Makayla has to use all her might to climb up on it!

I love seeing the after math of opening presents!! What a great morning!

Makayla's Toilet Episode

She decided to flush this doll down the toilet! Sloan had to use the "snake" to get it out! Luckily the snake got ahold of the little hat that was connected to the doll otherwise I don't think it would have come out!

Halloween 2010

It sure was a wet Halloween! We went to South Towne mall with my sister and husband. We didn't realize that the trick or treating there ended at 6 and we got there at 7. So that was waste of time! So we decided to go to my mom and dads neighborhood. It ended up being a good night. The kids got a ton of candy and were so excited!

Caden's 4th Birthday

Caden turned 4 in October. Sloan and I decided to have a costume party. Caden loved that idea because he was a transformer and wanted to wear his costume everyday. Makayla wouldn't have anything to do with her costume so that is why she's not in the picture. She wasn't a happy camper that day.

Gardner Village

Me and the kids went to Gardner Village with some friends to see the scarecrows for halloween. It got a little crazy with all the kids but they enjoyed it.

Sand Dunes in Idaho

We went to the sand dunes in Idaho the first week of September. It was so fun. The only

crappy part was the sand storm that came the second day. It was so crazy to see sand everywhere. Trust me when I say that it hurts when sand is blowing in your face.

The friends we went with had built a slip'n'slide the first time they went. So we did it again. It was so much fun. That was right before the wind storm came.

Kaycee was in heaven with the four wheeler. She went around in circles forever. She looked so cute on it.

Crazy Hair Day at School

Makayla's 2nd Birthday

I can't believe that this little munchkin turned 2! She has been such a

joy in our family! She has so much energy that I wish I had.

We took the birthday girl to Chick-fil-a for dinner. One of our favorite places,

especially on family night because we get free kids meals. Score!! The kids

really enjoy getting their faces painted. This was the first time Makayla had

actually got it done!

I love how she's looking up like "What are you doing to my face!"

Caden usually does spiderman but he was in the mood for something

different!

Bear Lake 2010

Every summer we go camping at Bear Lake. I enjoy just as much as the

kids do!! I'm so glad that my kids like to camp in tents. They think

it is the coolest thing!

Caden is such a boy! He plays in the sand and gets all dirty!

Makayla and Grayson are inseparable the whole time! They are

so cute when they play together!

Kaycee decided to bury herself to have a mermaid tail.

Kaycee's Black Eye

The night before Kaycee's first day of school, she got a black eye

from Caden. They were playing on my bed and Caden came back

with his head and hit Kaycee right under her eye. It was the crazy to

watch the bump grow.

In the morning it wasn't as swollen but she had a nice shiner to

go to school with. I told her that it would help her make new friends

because they would ask what happened!!

4th of July in Park City

We got to go to Park City with my family for the 4th of July! We

stayed for a week. It was so much fun. My kids always enjoy vacations,

even it is only 30 mins away!

We took Kaycee and Caden on the alpine slide. I was a little worried

Caden would be freaked out and not want to go down with Sloan. When we

got to the bottom, Sloan told me Caden was trying to push the handle

down so they could go faster!

Here are my 3 fish! Even though it was a little chilly that week they were always

in the pool. Although they really enjoyed the hot tub. We spent most of our

time in there.

I love this picture of these two. I had to keep a close eye on Makayla

because earlier that week she decided to jump off the stairs into the pool

when I wasn't by her. My sister told me she has never seen me move so fast.

Cute table refinish!!!

After I read Laura Hildebrands blog about that really cute table

she found at the DI, I was in search of one!! I happened upon one at the DI!!

I was so excited to sand it down and repaint it. I have to admit that it took me

a couple of months to finally finish it. I love it!!

I was sanding it by hand until my husband came to my rescue with his

electric sander. But it could only do so much because it was a circle one.

My great neighbor Fallon let me borrow her sander. I got the job done in

half the time!

I found the basket at TJMax. I love that store. The balls are

made out of styrofoam balls with twine (I can't remember the real

name for the stuff) wrapped around it with hot glue and spray painted!

Las Vegas!

For my birthday present this year, Sloan surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas!

We went the end of April. We were able to go with some of our friends! The

best part was that we didn't have our kids! It was such a fun trip! It wasn't

that warm that first two days. It was actually a little chilly and windy! The first

day we went shopping! I found out about this store called Fashion Q. I dragged

everyone there (including the men)!!! I bought 12 shirts!! I loved that store! I

asked the cashier if she knew if they were going to come to Utah anytime soon.

And she just kind of looked at me with a weird look on her face!! I highly

recommend going to that store if you make it to Las Vegas!

Matt, Chris & Sloan waiting patiently for the next

course! We went to the Melting Pot. I've always wanted

to try it so we figured why not since we are on vacation.

Let me just tell you I finally got rid of my craving to go there!!

The dessert was the best part!! I wasn't really into cooking my steak

in oil! It was defiantly out of our spending budget!

pretty good!

This is a real guy standing like that. Every time someone tipped

him he would move and then let you take a picture with him! He was

pretty cool! I couldn't believe all the people dressed up, on the strip, as

movie characters making money. It was insane!

Kaycee and Caden Both Play Soccer!

So I haven't figured out how to get the pictures in the order I want

them in!! Maybe one day!

Anyways we signed Kaycee and Caden up for soccer this spring.

Kaycee loved it. It took Caden a couple of games to get

the hang of it. I loved watching them run after the ball.

Makayla loved watching them play from her chair!

My stud Caden! He would wait so patiently for his soccer game.

Kaycee's was right before his, so he got to cheer his sister on from

the side lines.

I love the way he runs......it is so darn cute!

I think Kaycee is going to be our soccer star!! She scored 3 goals

in one game. Right after another!

I love these two kiddos. I'm so proud of them for doing a great

job playing soccer for their first time!!

Gus (our 2 week dog!)

Meet our dog Gus! We had him for two weeks in March. The kids

loved him. But mom couldn't handle it. I had anxiety

with having to know where he was all the time. We loved

him while we had him. My kids still to this day tell me

they want Gus back. Hate to break it to them but he's

not coming back.

A couple months Kaycee lost her first tooth. She

was so excited, especially for the tooth fairy to come!

Its been a couple months since I've cut it so it doesn't look as cute!

This was on our way to Boise, Idaho to visit his brother and

We had a great Christmas! The kids loved what Santa brought them.

It was fun having two of them understand about Santa.

Gingerbread house!

Our friends the Ulrich's invited us over for FHE to make

gingerbread houses. I haven't made one since I was a kid.

So I was pretty excited! Kaycee couldn't wait. She knew what

gingerbread houses were about. I bought some candy to put on

like candy canes, m&ms. Not much. We get to their house and Fallen

has every piece of candy you can think of! It was great! Sloan made

his own house (see below)!!!!

Kaycee and I made one together. Kaycee was so creative! We had so

much fun making it. My favorite part of it was the tree on the right

with nerds all over it! We definitely will be doing that again next year!

Dentist office Carnival!

The dentist office we go and that I worked for had a

carnival for 30 years in business! My kids were in heaven!

Kaycee and Caden would have climbed all the way to the

top if we would have let them! Caden didn't want to get down.

Both of them were so independent, NO help from dad.

Caden got to sit in an ambulance (which he thought was so cool!)

Thanksgiving Day Games!

We had Thanksgiving at my mom and dad's house this year.

It was a lot of fun! We played games with the kids!

As you can tell we had to put marshmallows on a spoon and

walk them to a cup. Our kids really enjoyed that. We took family

pictures, which turned out really cute but for some reason

it won't let me download the pictures. As soon as I figure that

out they will be posted!

My niece got this four wheeler for her birthday. It

has a button that you push to make it go. So

I decided to have Makayla try it!! I put her finger

We had a great halloween!! Kaycee was a 50's girl, Caden (as you can

tell) Spiderman!! and Makayla a flower! They were all so stinking cute!

I'm really surprised that Makayla kept the flower

on her head.

She sat in the wagon the whole time. Didn't make one sound!!

She just enjoyed being pulled in it by her dad!

Nothing like waiting for the last minute!! It was a fun time.

I traced Kaycee's pumpkin for her and she cut it out by herself.

Caden's 3rd Birthday!!

I can't believe that Caden is 3!!! He's grown up so fast.

We had a birthday party for him and he loved it! Can you tell

by the smile on his face??

I had a hard time thinking of games for 3 year old to play.

My mom gave me the idea of tying ballons to their legs

and having them try to pop the other persons balloon.

As you can tell the only person that got the game was

Kaycee!! She popped everyones. The kids just kind of

stood there!! It was cute. Now I know that that game is

for older kids!

Sloan and I got Caden a bike. Of course it was none

other than SPIDERMAN!! He loved it but was not

quite sure how to use it! He practices every day and is getting

much better at moving forward instead of breaking!

Picking Pumpkins!

I've been slacking a little! We went and picked pumpkins out at

patch on 90th. My kids were so excited. They had to find the perfect

pumpkin. We went when it was getting dark so we were kind

of rushed on time! But we found the perfect ones.

Playing in the Rain!!

Two weeks ago when it rained on Monday....Kaycee came out

of her room with her snow clothes on wanting to go play in the rain

and of course Caden wanted to join her, so Kaycee got her little

brother all dressed in his snow clothes. They went outside and

played in the rain. They had so much fun!! They would have stayed

out there all night if I would have let them! I wonder how its going to be

when it snows the first time!

We went camping last weekend and I was getting ready to put

Caden in the bath and he decides to run outside after Sloan.

Before I could catch him he was out the door "butt naked"

He grabs his scooter and flies down the driveway.

At that point I was like what's the use trying to

chase after him, whats done is done!! So I went

and got my camera and shot these pictures!

He thought he was so funny! He laughed

hysterically the whole time!!

Kaycee kept yelling,"naked boy, naked boy"!

Happy Birthday Makayla!

Yesterday was Makayla's 1st Birthday! I can't believe

she is already one! She has brought such joy into our

lives. She always has a smile on her face! She loves

her older brother and sister!

Her smile can always bring a smile to my face

even if its been a crazy day!

We went to Chickfila for dinner! They have family

nights on wednesday. The kids had their faces

painted. Even Makayla did, the lady was very

precise about how old the kids are. She asked me

how old she was and I told her "one' her birthday

is today. She wanted to know the time of day she

was born to make sure she was exactly one!

Luckily she was born in the morning on the 26th!!!

Kaycee loves to get her face painted!

Caden could only get his eyes painted because

he had face planted it earlier that day and got a

bloody nose and scrapped it up. She wouldn't paint

on his nose, because I guess it could stain his skin

the color of the face paint!! Good thing we didn't!

Kaycee started Kindergarten today!! She was so

excited! She started counting down the days

a week ago. Our first attempt at pictures it

turned out fuzzy!

Then she was being funny by pulling a

grumpy look!

The final one turned out so cute!! I can't

believe she started today. Before I know it she will be in

1st grade!! Kaycee we love you so much!!!

Sprinkler!!

We spent the afternoon outside the other day.

Makayla loved sitting in the shade. Its been

so hot lately.

I've been trying to get Caden to run through

the sprinklers since last summer. But he will

never do it. As you can tell he finally did it. Thanks to

our neighbor. He's 8 years old and Caden loves him.

Since he ran through Caden was all for it!!!

Florida Trip 2009

We went on our family trip to Florida!! It started off with waking the kids up at 4:00 am on monday morning. All three of them seemed to be more hyper at that time in the morning than when they wake up at 7:30. Everyone was so excited to finally be on our way. We had two plane trips before we made it to Florida.

As you can tell we had a very tired boy. He was out in two seconds.

He loved pulling his own back pack.

They were all smiles because they knew where we were going on the plane.

This was Cadens first plane ride that he can remember. Kaycee loves going on a plane.

So my mom had a yard sale today. So we went over there just to hang out. Not thinking that I needed to put sunscreen on my little Makayla. At the time it didn't look like she was getting any sun but as you can see, she got a lot. Where it is white, she had a headband on. Poor little girl looks so bad. But I had to take pictures of her even though she looks so miserable. I love the sweet little thing. The weird thing is Kaycee and Caden didn't get sunburned.

So Kaycee has been picking Makayla up lately. And I came out of my room to find Makayla on Kaycee's lap while she played on the computer. It was really cute!!!

Caden was in bed with Makayla making her happy so she wouldn't cry!

Chick-fil-a has family night on tuesdays. And as you can tell they do face painting. Kaycee loved her flowers and Caden has been into spiderman lately. Everytime he sees this picture he says "My spiderman!!" He was kind of hesitant about getting his face painted at first but loved it after he got it done.
